So I recently stumbled upon this magazine called "Carpe Noctem" which was published in the 90's era. You probably can't find it anymore, but I found a website: http://www.carpenoctem.tv/
pretty stellar if you ask me. Hah, stellar. Haven't used that in quite some time.

DUUUDE! The Homicidal Maniac, Lenore, Gloomcookie, Dead at 17, Daisy Kutter, Oddly Normal, Emily Edison, Karma Incorporated, A Dummy's Guide to Danger, The Expendable One, A bit Haywire, Lost Books of Eve, Villains, Viper Comics!
So I seem to have this conversation with a whole number of people my age all the time. Cartoons of the 90s. We've all watched them as children. Perhaps perpluxed by the oddity or obsessed over them. I have to say, those were some damn good times for cartoons. Darkwing Duck, Doug, Hey Arnold, Powerpuff Girls, Rocko's Modern Life, so much more. Gosh those were great. I feel that every media aspect has sadly degraded. A lot of things suck now. and that's not an understatement.
Oh! Most of you probably wouldn't know much about old Soviet cartoons unless you or your parents were born in Russia-formerly USSR. Speaking of great cartoons, man, Soviet cartoons are the BEST. It was a rough and depressing period. And we all know, a large portion of great works comes out of depressing times..it's true, is it not? Check out the Russian version of Winnie the Pooh. I actually am more fond of it than I am of the version you're all familiar with. Seriously, check it out. It will brighten your day for serious!
So, my dear friends, I guess I have found one of the many phases in my life. You will be hearing much more about these things in the mean time. I'm continually finding new stuff that adheres to my personality. It's quite wonderful actually. I'd very much like to preserve my youth for the longest possible time. Just thought I'd like to share this for tonight. Goodnight !
